Strolling along the village streets

Some people think that Giverny benefits by a microclimate that bathes the village in a special light, which attracted Claude Monet and pleased him so much that he decided to spend the rest of his life there – together with hundreds of other artists who set up their easels in the streets  or in the neighbouring countryside. Giverny is composed of a single street (called ‘rue Claude Monet’, of course!) with a few little lanes branching off.
